Tooling Around with Radhika Gajjala: From Second Life to Midjourney

We welcome everyone to come ‘tool around’ with Dr. Radhika Gajjala (Bowling Green University) as she leads us through her current research translating her long-standing work on Second Life (a multiplayer virtual world) into newer media contexts like Midjourney. Participants will be able to work in both platforms and follow the transformative journey Dr. Gajjala takes her Second Life figures on allowing us to watch old and new media interact. There will be an open discussion forum at the end to reflect on this process all together.

Year 2 Visioning Exercise

As we enter the second year of the Digital Feminist Network, this session provides a dedicated space for members to share and refine project ideas. Members can pitch initiatives aligned with our collective vision and explore collaborative next steps within the network. This closed session aims to foster a supportive environment for shaping the next phase of our work together.

Join Feminist Think Tank (University of Waterloo) for a collaborative workshop on Solidarity as Method, where contributors to our upcoming edited collection will draft and refine their chapter outlines. This session provides a space for collective brainstorming, peer feedback, and structured writing support, emphasizing feminist approaches to knowledge production. Whether you have a clear outline or are still shaping your ideas, this workshop will help turn concepts into structured contributions.
